What is inventory software linked to invoicing?
It is a tool where stock moves from the documents you issue and receive, without a separate spreadsheet. In FatturaSmart, sent invoices and delivery notes take sold goods out of stock, purchase invoices received through the SDI put them in after your confirmation, and every movement stays linked to the document that caused it.
Stock on Excel, double entry, stock-outs?
Keeping inventory in a spreadsheet means updating numbers by hand on every purchase and sale, finding out too late that a product has run out and rebuilding supplier orders from emails. Automatic stock-out when you sell
When you send an invoice or mark a delivery note as sent, stock of inventory-tracked products goes down on its own. If the invoice is rejected by the SDI or cancelled, the movement is reversed automatically.
Guided stock-in from purchase invoices
On an invoice received through the SDI, open Stock loading: FatturaSmart suggests the product for each line and learns your suppliers' article codes. You review and confirm.
Purchase orders with fulfilment tracking
Create the purchase order, download it as a PDF and see, for every product, what you ordered, received and still expect — even with partial deliveries across several invoices.
Low stock and reorder
Set a threshold on the product: when stock reaches it, the product shows up in the Low stock list with a suggested supplier, and Reorder prepares the draft order.
Average cost and margin per item
The weighted average cost updates on every stock-in. For each product you see revenue, average selling price, average purchase cost and unit margin (average selling price minus average cost) in euros and percent.
Valuation and stock age
Value of your stock as of today, a stock-age chart to spot slow movers, and CSV export of the valuation and of the movement history.
Stock counts and adjustments
Enter the counted quantity and FatturaSmart books the difference; for special cases you record manual stock-ins, stock-outs and adjustments.

Does stock update automatically from invoices?
Stock-out does: when you send an invoice or mark a delivery note as sent, stock of inventory-tracked products goes down on its own, and comes back if the invoice is rejected by the SDI or cancelled. Stock-in from purchase invoices is guided: on the received invoice you open Stock loading, review the suggested product for each line and confirm.
If I convert a delivery note into an invoice, is stock taken out twice?
No. The delivery note takes stock out when you mark it as sent; the invoice created from it does not take it out again. Quotes, proformas, orders and service reports never move stock.
How do low stock and reorder work?
You set a threshold and a reorder quantity on each product. When stock reaches the threshold, the product appears in the Low stock list with the supplier you last bought it from; the Reorder button opens a pre-filled purchase order draft that you review and save. The alert is shown in the app: no emails are sent.
Can I track purchase orders to my suppliers?
Yes. For each purchase order you see, product by product, the ordered, received and outstanding quantities, including partial deliveries and several invoices for the same order. If the supplier's invoice quotes your order number, FatturaSmart suggests the link when you book the stock-in.
How is inventory valued?
At weighted average cost, updated on every stock-in. The valuation shows the value of your stock as of today and can be exported to CSV, as can the movement history of each product.
Can I import stock levels from Fatture in Cloud?
Yes. When you import products from a Fatture in Cloud export, the stock quantity is loaded and valued at the purchase price in the file.
How much does inventory management cost?
It is included in the Max plan at €149.99/year + VAT, which also includes everything in Pro (AI bank reconciliation and advanced VAT), employee management, Sistema Tessera Sanitaria filing and the public API.
