Valuation and warehouse reports
Included in the Max plan: Warehouse management is included in the FatturaSmart Max plan at €149.99/year + VAT (which also includes unlimited invoicing, employee management, Sistema TS and public APIs).
Beyond keeping stock up to date, FatturaSmart shows you how much your warehouse is worth today and how stock moves. The reports help you see where capital is tied up, which products sit still for too long and how much margin each product leaves you.
How the Value Is Calculated
- Method: weighted average cost. Every load with a unit cost recalculates the product’s average cost.
- Reference date: today. The valuation always shows current stock; you can’t calculate it at a past date (for example at 31 December of the previous year).
Tip: if you need the year-end value for your accountant, export the valuation CSV at year end, after completing your inventory count.
The Warehouse Dashboard
Open the Warehouse page, titled Inventory valuation: below the Low stock list you’ll find the metrics, the aging chart and the product table.
The KPI cards

The Stock aging chart
The Stock aging chart groups stock value by the time elapsed since the product’s last outbound movement (sale or unload). The buckets are 0–30 days, 31–90 days, 91–180 days, 181–365 days, Over 365 days and Never sold, for products that have never left the warehouse.
It helps you spot goods that have been sitting too long, tying up capital and risking obsolescence.
The Valuation Table
Below the charts you’ll find the list of products with code, name, stock, average cost and value.
Step 1: Search for a product
Use the Search products… field to filter the table and quickly find a product.
Step 2: Sort the columns
Click a column header (code, name, stock or value) to re-sort the table and bring the products you care about to the top.
Step 3: Export to CSV
Click Export CSV to download the valuation: handy for external analysis or for your accountant.
A Single Product’s Figures
To analyse a product, open its Stock tab.
Step 1: Read the product summary
At the top you’ll find Current stock, Average cost and Inventory value, with the Low stock badge if the product is below its threshold.
Step 2: Check sales and margins
Right below you’ll find the product’s figures from the start of the selected fiscal year to today:

Alongside the margins you also see the quantities loaded and unloaded over the period.
Step 3: Read the Stock over time chart
The Stock over time chart shows how stock has moved. Use the granularity menu to view it by Day, Week or Month.
Step 4: Export the movements
The Movements table lists the product’s latest movements. Click Export CSV to download the movements from the start of the selected fiscal year to today.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is the Total value of the warehouse calculated?
Total value is the sum, per product, of current stock multiplied by the weighted average cost. The average cost is recalculated on every load and the valuation always refers to today.
Can I value the warehouse at a past date, for example 31 December?
No. The valuation always shows the value of stock as of today. If you need the year-end value, export the valuation CSV on 31 December, or right after closing your year-end inventory count.
What is the Stock aging chart for?
It groups stock value by the time elapsed since the product's last outbound movement, from 0–30 days to over 365 days, plus a Never sold bucket. This helps you spot idle goods that tie up capital.
What can I export to CSV?
Two exports: the warehouse valuation table, from the Warehouse page, and a single product's movements since the start of the selected fiscal year, from the product's Stock tab.
