Included in the Max plan: Employee management is included in the FatturaSmart Max plan at €149.99/year + VAT for up to 5 employees (which also includes unlimited invoicing, warehouse, Sistema TS and public APIs). It is turned on after accepting the data processing agreement. Discover the Employees module. For larger teams: Max 15 (up to 15 employees) at €299.99, Max 30 (up to 30) at €449.99, Max 60 (up to 60) at €749.99, all per year + VAT; above 60 employees the price is on request.
The Employees module in FatturaSmart helps you manage your staff in the same place you manage your invoices: employees clock in from the app, request leave and submit expenses; you approve from the web, distribute the payslips prepared by your consultant and send them a monthly attendance summary. Before You Start
- You need the Max plan: if you don’t see Employees in the side menu, your plan doesn’t include the module. See Change plan.
- Only the profile owner can accept the data processing agreement and turn on the module.
- Handing the privacy notice to your employees (GDPR arts. 13-14) remains your responsibility as the employer.

Which plan includes employee management?
Employee management is included in the FatturaSmart Max plan at €149.99/year + VAT for up to 5 employees; larger teams use the Max 15 (€299.99), Max 30 (€449.99) and Max 60 (€749.99) bands, all per year + VAT. It is turned on after the profile owner accepts the data processing agreement (DPA, GDPR art. 28) in the app.
Does FatturaSmart calculate payroll?
No. Payslips remain the job of your labour consultant (consulente del lavoro). Every month FatturaSmart sends them attendance, leave and approved expenses, and lets you distribute to your employees the payslip PDF the consultant produces.
How do employees use FatturaSmart?
Employees use the FatturaSmart app for iOS and Android: they clock in and out, request leave, submit expenses and receive their payslips. They sign in with a link received by email, with no password.
Does my labour consultant need a FatturaSmart account?
No. Your labour consultant receives the attendance file as an email attachment at the address you set, without having to sign in to FatturaSmart.
